Speaking of tourist sites being overrun, I heard moraine lake is being closed to parking for the public. Shuttles only for access. Can someone confirm this, or will there be exceptions?
On one hand it's probably for the best since the people fighting each other for sunrise parking was getting out of hand with people practically sleeping in their cars and it filling up by 3AM
But what does that mean for hauling equipment (since its a hub for many lengthy hikes), and people with dogs? How would that work transport-wise, I wonder.
Hopefully the parks people have a plan in place that still allows the site to be as accessible as it was for every one.
