Construction of all the facilities, construction of all the amenities, construction of all the developments. Staff for all of the operating businesses. This creates tons of jobs and draws people to move to Calgary / provides jobs for people who don't have them. All the concerts and other events we miss out on due to an old facility. More visitors for Stampede and more money spent during Stampede. Way better draw for the convention centre with the new facilities and amenities that will be in the area. It goes on and on. Most of all, it prevents the team from leaving, which would be a huge economic impact.
