The first year they came out with these things back in 2014 or 2015 or whenever it was I was working for a guy that went bananas for them. One time we went for coffee and he bought a whole box of them -- $200. I sat there and watched him go through them, he would open the packs and just look at the middle card since it was the only one that could be a rare / uncommon one. He'd throw away the outside two since he already had a complete collection of all the common ones.
Out of the $200 he only got maybe 3 or 4 card he didn't already have. Not sure how many times he did this. Was pretty wild. I would just grab a single pack when I picked up a coffee!
