I enjoyed the first two seasons as an exercise in futility and BS. Thats just part of the deal when you're a Trek fan.
Those were ridiculous and awful.
And whats even funnier to me is that this Third season is all they should have been doing right from the beginning.
Its not brilliant, its not unique its not even creative. Its literally spoon-feeding the fans the gruel they've been demanding. How hard is that?
Stewart never even took his acting chops out of second gear and I'm relatively convinced that Frakes was drunk for about 95% of it. Its fine.
I'm highly critical, I always am but this was still better than 90% of the other crap they've fed us.
I have watched all of Star Trek Voyager and Enterprise and I still struggle to slog through Discovery.
