Over the year it ends up not being too bad.
My formula year over year is simple:
Accept that you will have really poor re-sale on a large number of games. Take the Leafs and Habs fans to the cleaners… sell other premium games for as much as you can.
Go to roughly 20 games.
Playoff tickets - sell for as much as possible. Go to 1
Game and sell the next and rotate.
I have Greens and this method leaves me good enough value to keep renewing. I like the flexibility and the few other limited perks that come with having season tickets.
I usually get 1 seat upgrade a year which is 2-4 tickets in the lower bowl for free while I keep my seats. I do appreciate that and it brings some value.
