Richardson (likely) - Depth d-man who was pretty inconsequential.
Stecher (maybe) - Was really good in his role.
Rooney (probably not) - He was a bust, but Rooney did say when he was signed that the Flames tried to sign him when he was a free agent from NJ before Sutter was around, so he likely wasn't brought in just for Sutter.
I might be missing a few spare part types that didn't factor in much, but for the most part, the "Sutter" types that were brought in did pretty good.

And aside from Toffoli, were not played up the lineup. Well, sometimes the Ritchies did but usually when there was an injury.
