I really think we are coming off a season that is a true anomaly. You look at some of the stat lines and ALL TIME NHL "Bad Luck" Records that were broken by this team and I can't help but wonder if that season was just a one off. You can have bad days, bad games etc etc.... whos to say out of 40+ seasons you can't have one that is just a disaster? Sure felt like it like this season.
I know I am in the minority but if we can keep the important pieces of this team somewhat together and get even average goaltending this team is very very good next year.

They tried to play the luck narrative until the stats came out showing it wasn't luck but just a bunch of bad shots on net. 27th in high danger chances isn't bad luck.
Yes the goaltending was bad but blaming Markstrom alone isn't fair. 3 teams in the our division had just as bad goaltending and are in the playoffs.
Even a look back at Sutters coaching history shows its wasn't a one off season it's all shots are the same with him.
