that was a masterclass in shooting yourself in the foot. They should have killed the tie in the first game, but completely gave it away with those own goals towards the end. Then they gift Sevilla the early lead like that today ... just terrible all around. And on top of that, they were bloody awful tonight in general. Little movement, sloppy passing and second best in terms of intensity too. They missed Fernandes badly, but that can't be an excuse. Others had to step up and failed miserably.
And yeah, I'll echo the "let De Gea walk" sentiment. He's still a great shot stopper, but he severely lacks in other areas. It's time to turn the page there.
