Flames fans have never ever seen even one season as bad as 10 of the Oilers.
Its amazing anyone here could be proud of them. Everything they win is tainted, given the help the NHL has had to give them to keep them competitive. It’s embarrassing.

I don’t think anyone in here is “proud” of the Oilers (well, except for the Oiler fan posters). Some people are just pointing out that their franchise’s incompetence lead them to drafting superstar players. Where as the Flames incompetence has lead to them losing the star players they drafted and being stuck in the mushy middle. I don’t want an ownership like Edmonton’s. I want an ownership that has a clear plan for the future. I want them to be able to communicate with us fans what that plan is. And that doesn’t seem to be the case here. Both the Oilers and Flames are not model franchises that other teams should emulate. The Oilers just sadly have had the better luck of the two Alberta hockey teams recently
