What part of that is fiction? I'm not the one spinning crazy yarns about literally everything bad that happened to the Flames is one guy's fault. Lots of teams don't spend to the cap year after year after year. The Flames do. If Edwards was actually a devious cheap bastard he'd spend $20 million less on salaries than he does, that's why it's asinine to complain about $2 butter. And at the risk of triggering all the whiner fans that expect ownership to shell out constantly for everything, it's clearly the city's fault that we don't have a new building. A new mayor came in and scuttled a done deal with a bunch of ridiculous add-ons for solar panels and bike parking. Most of you don't even see the need for a new building, apparently, so you should just disagree with the premise of me calling ####ty instead of asking who's fault it is.
So in conclusion a lot of you seem to want an owner that will build a new building, spend to the cap, rebuild whenever you want, AND (the biggest ask of all) charge you at cost for butter. In a small Canadian market. You're delusional. And pointing out the reality is apparently stanning for billionaires.
