Thanks Tre. His Flames team performance was average overall but he brought a respectability back to the organsiation that was severely lacking. Feaster left him nothing but a couple forward prospects while the defence, goaltending, and right handed shot cupboards were bare. He leaves the Flames with defence depth, a top goalie prospect, and plenty of right handed shots will also having our best centre depth since the early 90s. My only criticism was he sometimes moved too fast to fill these holes but overall the Flames are in a much better position today than when he took over.
I'm worried Treliving will be historically remembered like Al Coates. A competent leader who build a good foundation only to see their successor ruin most of it.
