At this point, I'm 100% on board with Conroy as GM. Why has he been with us for this long if not for this moment? Playing experience, AGM experience, Flames experience, and all around amazing guy. Sign me up. He's proven he has an eye for talent, has the charisma to attract talent, and (reading into things) must have a fond love for the Calgary Flames.

Things are going to get incredibly sticky if Sutter stays, but I think Conny could handle it. I'm absolutely a glass half empty guy normally, so as a fan of this team I'm hoping we get one of the most likable Flames ever as our next GM to quell this massively negative moment. Please Edwards, go against your better judgment and make this happen.
