Really didn't like the tone from Bean this afternoon and made me angry towards the organization. Came across as very arrogant and cold which is not the person you want leading the charge in a fan generated business. Goes to show how good we had things with Ken King. He should strictly be limited to the business side of things (such as arena negotiations) and not in front of a camera when it comes to addressing the fan base on hockey related decisions.

There is definitely an image factor that goes with operating a sports team and he failed miserably with that task. You don't get a good feeling with him in either a PR role or conduit between the team and fans. His standoffish attempt to answer questions is a bad look for the team when they should be doing a better job in a damage control capacity.

Malhoney was refreshing and sincere in his address but it really does seem like the team has no plan or direction (at least at this moment, which could be fair given Brad's resignation). Bean's phrase about the word rebuild being forbidden was just plain stupid. If that is indeed true then the team is out to lunch as to how you win in this league and acquire talent.

I always like to support the team but something about Bean's attitude and arrogance makes me question how much money I'm willing to invest into the team next season.
