Totally agree on loving Maloney's transparency. I think though things aren't fully black and white. Sounds like there were scenarios where Treliving would have stayed, whether that's term, $, get rid of Daryl.........whatever it was, if there were scenarios where he would have come back, then it is mutual. If Brad says I'll stay if XYZ, and the Flames say no but we want you back. And in the end, they don't agree on terms and neither side bends on the ask, it is a mutual decision, it's not spin, it's just the truth. They both agreed to stop negotiating and mutually agree to move on.
