I was a fool. I thought locking up huby & Kadri at the time would pay dividends, and they'd be great in the first 3-4 seasons, making the rest worth it.
Team wasn't even close, and it ate up all the cap they had to play with.
Flames need to see the corner they've painted themselves into and take the loss.
The way forward is much more difficult trying to keep this group competitive with very little dough, than just tearing down or at least retooling.
