It will be interesting to see if/when the Flames move some of these pending UFA guys what type of return they will go after? If they pursue more of a hockey deal hopefully they are getting the younger pieces in return. Getting futures in return makes sense to help with their cap crunch and building a pipeline. Also cap space and futures typically is one of the best combos to have when disgruntled star players or struggling teams seek to make moves.
If they lose Bscklund and Lindholm another center needs to be acquired. They could look at Dube going back to that spot but would still need another guy.
