Can't lose these guys for nothing. Trade them this off season. Even if they tickle the GM's balls like Gaudreau did to Treliving, we can't go down that road again.

I wonder if the new guys getting long term, big pay days before even playing for the team effects these guys too.
They put in the blood, sweat and tears and probably feel a little under appreciated.
Backlund has always been treated like the depth guy on the 3rd line, so I have no problems with him wanting move on if he does. He has given a lot to this team, the city and fans, so good for him if he wants to go try and win a cup.
I'd love to see him win one.
