Fair. Though to some extent it backfired because they would limit and Markstrom and Vladar got cold at the beginning of games and then they blew the good chances that arose suddenly. It was almost like they should have allowed more (but easier) shots.
Anyway, yes, goaltending, which has little to do with what Sutter does, affects both his strategy and how we see his strategy.
Every coach is going to have flaws.
