I really don't think Peters, Ward, or Sutter were coaches that heavily relied on Analytics either. Lucic and Lewis wouldn't play as much as they do if it was analytics driving the bus.
Tulsky is the brain behind what is going on in Carolina, and they have made some really shrewd moves in their time.
I just don't want a Mike Futa, Murray, Hextall, Fletcher type of re-tread GM to be honest.

Sutter isn't totally anti-analytics whether he says so or not. High shots/shot suppression are certainly are an analytics staple. But then he goes and throws out long fourth line shifts.
