I like that too. Question is whether a first time GM will be given any autonomy at all. Might need a buffer between that person and ownership.
That was Burke for a while but his parting was "mutual". I'm not convinced owners want to pay for that role, and if they did, who would be the right person such that they manage the ownership involvement while giving the GM freedom to do what they need.
You know who has the cachet to get ownership to listen? Sutter. Problem of course is that he would never let a GM do their job.
