I asked the same question, this time got no middle name and his dates were moved 68 years into the future (relative to the actual ones).
I asked 'are you sure?' and it apologized, but 'As an AI language model, I do not have access to real-time information, and my knowledge is based on data available up until September 2021.' My grandfather died in 1937.
I asked the original question again and got 'never heard of him' (paraphrasing a long-winded answer).

Did you try Bing for search?
The great thing with GPT is not search, but everything else it can do. If you had a personal assistant who messed up when asked what they knew about your grandfather but could still perform all the actual work required of them, like processing documents, writing plans, building websites, coordinating activities etc., and could do that for a salary of $20/month, I would think you'd be pretty pleased.
