The playoffs can be a crapshoot sometimes the best team doesn't always win due to luck and streaks.
I still think your aim should be to finish as high as you can and not rely on just getting in because those Cinderella stories are rare.

Fair. But some posters clearly don't think the regular season even matters if you don't make a bang in the POs, as far as if you are a contender or not, and that a rebuild is necessary if you are not. So at the end of the day it's just a word people use that has a lot of fuzz around it for me.
