Markstrom had the team where they could win, which is all you can ask. And made a few key stops in the second and third to make it that way, just like Saros. He has nothing to do with how Saros plays. Andersson had Saros down and out and couldn't score.
When the game was there to be won, the Flames sent out a guy with 25 points in 74 games this season, mostly from tipping and shoving in rebounds. The Preds sent out a kid with 41 points in 49 games who had a dynamite move.

Stop defending him. How many times has he let in a piss poor goal in the first 3 shots of the game? It seems we are always trailing after 20 mins when he is in net.
Besides he can eff off just due to his crap ass play in the playoffs last year against the Oilers. You can't be a starting goalie for the Flames when you have the yips against the Oiler. Full stop.
