Once I was on a 10 day hike, and the only pair of shorts I had with me was the quick-dry pair I was wearing. About two days in to a hike I realized that somehow the crotch of my shorts was completely torn out, and the legs were just litterally flapping around. Everyone I was with definately made fun of me, especially when I had to sit around in my underwear and try to sew the crotch back together. They barely held together for the next 8 days...
