The Flames give up the puck more than other teams when entering the zone? I don't see that either and I don't see metrics that support it. Flames do well in zone time, shot attempts and shots. That's not a team playing without the puck and chasing.
IMO the Flames do lack puck carriers though. Kadri can do it, but he plays like Paul Newman in Slapshot where the puck is nailed to his stick. Until it isn't.

At any rate, that’s why I’d love to see the micro stats, the zone entry data and rush chance data
I am quite confident it will support what I have been observing all year
(And we know Gaudreau was tops in the league at generating off the rush last year and Tkachuk and Mang were top 50.)
