What genres are there? To be honest, most estate records are thrift store donation value.
1. Pop/rock is valuable (60s-90s)
2. Jazz is valuable
3. Classical and orchestra and big band type stuff has no demand and can go to thrift. If you don't recognize the name or it's Burt Baccarat type stuff, I wouldn't even bother. This is what is most commonly found in estate collections for some odd reason.
