I'll post this story for discussion. It's a little dated and actually just predates Sutter's return to Calgary. It's a pretty scathing look at Sutter and other "old school" coaches.

I wonder if the inclination for the Flames to hire these kinds of coaches reflects Murray Edwards managing style. I have heard that he can be a pretty scary person to be in a room with at times.

I'm not in the "blame everything on Sutter" crowd, but I do think it might be time to try a different approach.
