I'm actually surprised there wasn't more deaths there over the years. You basically had to bolt across the southbound lanes to a small middle area and then sit there and attempt to merge onto northbound traffic from a stand still when everyone else was coming down the hill at 100-120kms.

I wasn't talking about that area. Since they opened the Deerfoot link to the #2, I don't think I've driven Macleod Trail south of 22X (or whatever it is now).
I was talking about other parts of the city that have gone traffic light mad in recent years.
