Yeah but our priorities and ownerships are different.
Ownership just wants a full arena, a competitive team, playoff revenue, and players good enough to sell jerseys.
I don't think they care about progression or if we every win another Cup or win the draft lottery and get a generational player. None of those are necessary for Flames to be a thriving business (measured in profit). Calgary has nothing else to compete with the Flames for sport fan dollars.
