I think that Duer would be great with Huby - Walker plays a simple direct game and Huby would know where to find him all the time (near the net or headed that way, stick on ice).

IMO Duer is a middle six player on this team.

This team needs a coach that can fix the players we have long term commitments to, moreso than a lineup makeover.

Apart from being smarter with pending upcoming UFAs, I don't expect much will change in the offseason.

Extending Lindy (if he is interested) fits in with the age of the other big contracts here. Same with Noah.

Backlund signs a hometown discount deal to finish off his career here.

Tanev probably goes at the deadline next year, or if they are in it he'll finish out his contract.
