Manhunter is great. I know some people don't like it because the production design and soundtrack is very '80s, making it look and 'feel' markedly different from the very glum-looking
The Silence of the Lambs and 2002's
Red Dragon (which basically copied the look of
The Silence of the Lambs, but amusingly had the same cinematographer as
Manhunter: Dante Spinotti
).
