It just sucks that Vladar is still somewhat of a mystery box at this point. I can't recall, how many consecutive starts did he even have this season?
It's difficult to get a good read on a goalie when they are coming in cold all the time. He has let in a few softies, but no more so on average than Markstrom, yet he hasn't been given any rope or room to show he can be more if he plays more.
I'd prefer to go with Vladar and Wolf next season, because two mystery boxes scare me less than Markstrom at this point, but it would sure be nice to know more about Vladar's potential considering this is now his second year with the team.
