Both Markstrom and Vladar were mismanaged this year. I don’t even fault them for it — obviously they should have been better but Markstrom was overworked and they weren’t willing to give Vladar any leash.
Wolf probably would have pulled after giving up a soft goal anyways, Sutter likes his veterans and he’s going to miss the playoffs because of it.
