I feel like trading top consistent players for arms is a fool's game anyway. Arms can be so unpredictable from one year to the next with few exceptions. I mean, who knows, Manoah could tank and have an awful year this season. He certainly had a bad start.
That's also why paying big money for arms is mostly filled with regrets as well. Berrios, Ryu, who knows maybe Bassitt are three big regrets or potential regrets and Kikuchi isn't looking like a great signing either (prove me wrong tonight!).
The only arm I'd pay through the nose for is Ohtani for obvious reasons since he's still pretty useful even if that arm falls off.
