Yeah it's not short, but it takes some time to properly explain it. You can skip the parts about Ukraine's economy though if you like.



The short version is, while there's no way to directly quantify the impact the sanctions have had, they are probably working enough to have a notable and growing impact on the battlefield, even if they haven't brought the whole Russian economy to its knees.
