The question is if there was a citizen counsel on this that was familiar with the train and hanging with inordinate amount of users of meth, crack, fenty and the complete overtaking of transit (in many cities) what kind of action would they take?
Instead politicians come up with plans to spend more money to do a light push back and won't face the epidemic or systemic problems.
It's time to update the way we run our society, in that these politicians run on platforms and issue fake budgets at all levels and aren't addressing the problems the citizens know about. Once elected they are no longer beholden. The system is completely misdirected.
Sometimes hard choices have to be made, so that society can expect leadership, action and effect in their local communities. Yes, it is a problem on a major artery to have some guying stabbing and grabbing a purse.
