It hasn't been a great season. Odd season really. Having some anger about it is understood.
Needing to believe every single thing is broken and doomed to make yourself feel better is pretty fun to poke at later.

I admit, I’m an optimist. Just have to look for the bright side. Its easy to find negative in anything and I just don’t like living that way.
I see a team that didn’t have that “game breaker” for most of the year. They also struggled with systems it seemed. To me, Sutter has been trying to get them to play a style that he is confident that they have to play in order for them to have success. It also appears that there has been blowback against that.
But
Recently, it seems that there has been buy in and in an eternally optimistic manner, this season could turn in a beautiful direction if we make it in, playing a playoff form of hockey and Edmonton wins the conference……… could have a golden shot at redemption.
Either way, I also think that we could return with exactly the same personnel next year and enjoy much better results.
The one thing that I admit triggers me is the comments that demand we “Tank”. Planning to lose then expecting to win a lottery doesn’t make sense to me and potentially damages the future more than it helps. I just don’t see it as a “plan”.
