LOL he's the furthest thing ever from an Adam Oates type of pass first player. He's basically the Western Conference version of AO as the entire Oilers powerplay is designed around getting the puck on his stick at the bottom of the circle for a one-timer. Oilers media for years has been trying to make this guy out to be this all around player that he's never, ever been as he's a one-dimensional powerplay specialist.
