My brother has a Degenerative Back Disease and Spinal Stenosis. Last year they did a spinal fusion on his neck and this morning he is undergoing a 6 hour operation to install some rods and screws in his lower back. The hope is it will give him some feeling in his right leg and a quality of life. The alternative is being in a wheelchair.
