I think he will be an impact player, he has NHL skating and NHL shot. With the way his defensive game developed this year as center I can see him becoming a Lindholm type player with a better shot (one timer esp) and a bit faster with time I would say. Huberdeau should love playing with him.
He will be very useful to us on the PP, he has a pretty good one timer and I am very impressed with how he adjusts his body position to receiver a one timer. Once Toffoli is off the Flames I fully expect him to be our one timer/shot option on the right side. He is also pretty good at changing his angle to get the shot off.
He got 36 (20g+16a) points in 34 games this year - just like last year, but he had a bit of a cold streak to end the year (1 goal in last 7) so he had 19 goals in 27 games which is really good for NCAA. I think he would fare better in a longer season with more games, he has the stamina for it.
Also, you know how the Flames right now do not have a big game player, Coronato's thing is that he is the big game player and gets that clutch goal. I feel like so many of his goals that I saw these 2 years where like 3rd period pp goal to go up or tie the game in the third, a goal with the net empty, or the OT goal. Hopefully that translates to the NHL, with him and Pelletier this team should way more lovable next year.
