CSIS's roles and powers are readily available for anyone to view. Biggest take away is they have zero power to arrest or detain anyone, and can only refer their information to police enforcement or report to the government. Their job is to inform and advise based on intelligence gathering, which they did and our government outright ignored them instead of acting on the intelligence received.

It is you that keeps making assumptions about what CSIS can and cannot do, even to the point that you wanted to make a poll on if CSIS failed in their role under these false assumptions.
