Also, if these two national security sources are CSIS, and CSIS had this information and the Director didn't immediately brief the PMO about the possibility of a Liberal back channel that went counter to the lives of two Canadians then the CSIS director needs to be immediately fired.
If CSIS did brief Telford and the PMO office on this interaction, its likely that Telford would have briefed Justin, at that point then realistically Justin should resign.
This is why there's no way that this can function any more in committee, and I seriously question if an inquiry won't be compromised by politics.
We need people under for real oaths. We need unlimited access to anyone that needs to be questioned no matter where this investigation ends up.
This process needs to be completely politically neutral, and there needs to be teeth to consequences.
