Saw this today, while looking into when players enter their prime:

Because the position requires size, power forwards are usually late bloomers who don't become very effective until they are in their mid-20s when their body becomes bigger and more mature.
Since the motive was my curiosity around when Tkachuk could be considered to have entered his prime, here are some numbers since his 24th birthday (December 11, 2021):

Main Stats
  • 11th in goals (65, tied with Brayden Point)
  • 2nd in assists (McDavid: 128, Tkachuk: 113)
  • 2nd overall in points (McDavid: 214, Tkachuk: 178, Draisaitl: 171)
  • 2nd in P/GP (1.45, tied with McKinnon, 0.03 ahead of Kucherov)

Accessory Stats
  • 2nd in +/- (+2 behind Grzelcyk, +3 ahead of D. Toews, +10 ahead of Makar)
  • 17th in PIMs (130)
  • 37th in TOI/GP (amongst forwards) (19:19, tied with RNH)

Even Strength and 5v5 Stats
  • 1st in even-strength points (125, 2 ahead of McDavid)
  • 1st in 5v5 points (105, 6 ahead of Marner)
  • 7th in 5v5 goals (40, 1 ahead of McKinnon)
  • 2nd in 5v5 assists (65, 1 behind Marner)
  • 2nd in 5v5 primary assists (40, tied with Gaudreau, 2 behind Marner and 2 ahead of McDavid
  • 1st in 5v5 points per 5v5 60mins (Tkachuk: 3.57, Marner: 3.49) (McDavid: 2.77)
