I appreciate the back and forth and there are some really great posters that keep us updated on news and statistics, but for the most part the "takes" are emotional, overwrought whining by a bunch of fans with limited hockey knowledge beyond watching for entertainment or playing at a low level.
It is fine, and nothing to be ashamed of, as it is a fan forum after all, but it gets a little rich sometimes when people take themselves and others too seriously.

Not to suggest they haven't been far below expectations this season but it is kinda funny when MVP Tkachuk's team he is pulling into the playoffs with his amazing play has the exact same amount of points as the lowly Flames. Only difference is the last WC team in the east has been even more pathetic than the one in the West.
