The emotion shown over these last few days proves to me at some level this team still cares. Markstrom showing frustration and Kadri upset that he was not involved in OT makes me want to believe that they haven't given up yet.

What makes me mad though is that where was this type of emotion all season long? Now that the playoffs are getting out of reach that's when they decide to care? I mean it's game 70 against Dallas and a must win...just proves what type of season they've had. This should have been a game that even if we lost we were happy to get a point because we were comfortably in a playoff spot.

This version of the Flames from a fan perspective (or at least my perspective) has been the worst cast of characters in a long time. So much bs with this group all year long. Whether it's coaching, management, player production, media complaining, agent tweets it's getting to be ridiculous. Fans pay good money to watch this team and the very least you would hope they can put their differences aside and have a common goal to support each other and win games.

It has not been a fun ride and seems like everyday there is some new controversy or crap that we have to put up with. Just win some damn games, play as a team and see what happens. Save the bitching till the off-season. The primary focus should be to get in at this point but instead we have these side stories like lack of coaching communication, stick breaking, player arguing, agent tweeting etc.

I get it, each season as it's own version of distractions and stories (and media reports like this generate interest and likes) but I'm just so tired of this group from top to bottom. Would not upset me in the slightest to tear this down and start fresh. This group is not worth supporting from what I've seen 70 games into the season.
