Really don't see motivation as the issue with Kadri I think the cup and not being the villain has boosted his ego into thinking something he isn't which is the star of the team.
Kadri thrived in areas that Tkachuk always wilted.
Look at the Binnington incident he was enemy #1 and came through with a hat trick. Tkachuk in those situations would be Mia.
But we haven't got that Kadri. He's gone soft
