I thought the Pats might make a play for Dalton Schultz. Bellichick wad the guy who brought back those multiple tight end sets to create mismatches when they had Gronk and Hernandez. Smith and Henry really have not delivered so I thought Schultz may have been a guy they saw as a more consistent receiving threat.
