You already said you aren’t a hockey fan and just go for the popcorn and like leaving early. Isn’t it kind of ridiculous to expect an experience that caters to you vs an actually engaged fan of the sport?

PepsiFree, you have a memory like an elephant! Yes, I polished off my popcorn, then half my kid's popcorn, then some nachos with double cheese, couple beers, some licorice. It was a GD feeding frenzy. Then we went home after the second period because we all had our fill.
IDK, don't see what's weird about that. Who says hockey games have to be 60 minutes, or at least, who says you have to stay for the whole thing? Forty minutes of watching teenagers skate around an oval was plenty for me.
My point is you can be engaged without going out of your way to let everyone within a 300' radius know you like to yell at young people playing a game. Go be a coach if you think you're so useful. Maybe you're used to people yelling like dip####s because you grew up going to hockey games? I didn't, so wandering in as an adult and seeing what these monkeys get up to is super annoying.
It'd be like if you grew up in a church where they speak in tongues. I'm sure it's perfectly normal and rational for those people. Throw you or me in there and we'd be shocked.

I wouldn't say I'm uncomfortable. I'd say I'm deeply annoyed, but that's a very comfortable state for me. When I enjoy myself I try not to #### up other people's nights. I'd appreciate the same respect from this one screeching banshee.
