It also definitely does nationalist propaganda to 11, but being well removed from the target audience for that sort of thing it's a bit easier to ignore that uncomfortable aspect of the whole thing.
It's basically like if you took the Ip Man movies, a buddy action comedy, Mel Gibson's The Patriot and Gladiator and then added a bunch of musical and epic dance scenes and mixed them together in a big tank and then attached a fire hose to said tank, and then pointed it at the audience and opened it up to full blast on them.
