I am wondering how much of an occurrence this lack of snow for LL is? What's strange for me is given how little snow they have, they haven't even done a decent job of making any on the lower part of the run's! It's all ice and thin, really thin !
One thing I do like though is that the pass to LL also includes their summer gondola form my understanding? Does this mean I get to ride up for free and hike the mountain for free? Anybody know where I can find a trail map, couldn't find anything on the site. That is a huge plus for sure if that's accurate.
Going up tomorrow, hopefully a good day!

This is a total outlier year. I've never seen the snow worse. Sunshine generally (always?) gets more, but their terrain isn't as good and runs aren't as long. Plus a lot more ####ing around before you're actually riding due to taking the gondola to just the base of the lifts.
For the summer chair, I think you only get access with that for the summer
preceding your winter season pass. That is, if you buy your season ski pass for the 23/24 season in spring 2023, you can access the summer lift in summer 2023. They do this to incentivize you to purchase next year's season pass this year.
To my knowledge, your season pass for skiing in the 22/23 season you currently have will not get you access to the lift in the summer of 2023. No harm in double checking that, though.
Manmade snow always turns icy. They've done a fine job, but really you want to use the manmade stuff to build a base, which they have done. The issue is there hasn't been much natural snow to mix in/pile on top, so yeah, the snow sucks.
Really bad luck to have bought your pass for this season, though. I'm feeling the burn, too.
Another thing I've noticed about this year is I find a lot of the runs to be actually dangerous. Not sure if that's just my old-man brain kicking in, but there are some crazy rocks that come out of nowhere that could really injure a guy just in the middle of runs, not to mention in the trees. If you time a fall wrong you're on your way home in an ambulance. Normally they'd have a bunch of these rocks marked with an "X" made from bamboo sticks, but I'm not sure there's enough bamboo in all of China to mark all the rocks this year so they've just said, #### it.
